Lacrosse Canada Accepting Nominations for multiple chair positions

Lacrosse Canada are seeking nominations for the following Chair positions with terms up in 2024:

 

 

Nominations for this position are to be sent to the LC office admin@lacrosse.ca as per the following policies and terms of reference:

 

Men's Field Sector Chair:

Appendix 25-25 - The Chair will be elected in even years, and the Vice-Chair will be elected in odd years from among the Sector representatives. Both Chairs will be elected to an initial term. Each Member Association may appoint representatives to serve on the Sector. The Sector will elect a Chair from among the representatives. A Chair will be elected every two years from among the representatives on the Sector.

 

Officiating Chair:

23.2.1 The Officiating Committee is responsible for guidance and direction of the NOCP. The Officiating Committee Chairperson is established and ratified by the Board of Directors for a two (2) year term each even numbered year. The committee falls under the Director Domestic Development.

23.2.1.1 Interested candidates should send their nomination to their MA together with their résumé. MAs will need to send their nominations to LC Program Coordinator, by the date specified by LC Head office prior to the SAM. MA’s can submit more than one nomination.

 

Women's Sixes Sector Chair:

Appendix 25-27 - Each Member Association may appoint two representatives to serve on the Sector, one to represent the Men’s Sixes Division and one to represent the Women’s Sixes Division. The Sector will elect a Chair and a Vice- Chair from among the representatives. The Vice-Chair will act on behalf of the Chair should the Chair be unable to perform their duties.
