Announcement China Representative Team: Training Roster 2023 Calendar

China Training Team Introduction
China Lacrosse is happy to announce signups for the China Lacrosse Training Team. This program is suitable for high-level lacrosse players (both men and women) who aspire to play for Team China and represent China on the international stage. The Training Team will be a feeder program for both the men’s and women’s representative teams.
Going forward, signup/registration for all Team China events, including tryouts for World Championships, will be restricted to players already on the Training Team. In other words, any player who wants to represent China in a future World Championship MUST first be a member of the Training Team.
Any players who fulfill the requirements outlined below are eligible to register for and join the training team.
Signup Requirements
To join the Training Roster, players must fulfill the following requirements:
- Pay the 500 RMB signup fee (payment details will be sent after February 28. For those who sign up after February 28, payment details will be sent upon signup.)
- Must fulfill one of the following:
- Be a Chinese citizen
- At least one parent is/was a Chinese citizen
- At least one grandparent is/was a Chinese citizen
- Born in China
- Currently living in China (regardless of citizenship)
- Men: Must be at least 15 years old
- Women: Must turn 15 before the 2024 U20 World Championship
Training Team Requirements
After joining the Training Team, players must adhere to the following:
- Attend online “chalk talk” once a week (must have a minimum 75% attendance record each quarter)
- Submit required fitness test results/videos at end of each quarter
- Submit wall ball test results/videos at end of each quarter
Players who fail to adhere to the above Training Team requirements in any given quarter will be placed on probation for 6 months and receive a written warning from the coaching staff. Any player who once again fails to complete Training Team requirements during the probation period will be removed from the Training Team.

Summer Training Camps (Shenzhen, San Diego)
This summer, China Lacrosse will host two training camps for Training Team players in San Diego and Shenzhen. Only Training Team members may register for these camps. More details (signup fee, specific dates, etc.) on both camps will be sent to Training Team members after the signup period closes in March. Players interested in trying out for the 2024 Women’s U20 Lacrosse Championship or 2024 Men’s Indoor Lacrosse Championship MUST attend one of the training camps this summer.
Fall Representative Team Tryouts
This Fall, China Lacrosse will host tryouts for the Women’s U20 Lacrosse Championship and 2024 Men’s Indoor Lacrosse Championship. Only Training Team members are eligible to register for these tryouts, which will tentatively be held in October. Specific details will be released at a later date.
