Lacrosse Canada Accepting Applications for Manager Of Partnerships Role

Lacrosse Canada is excited to announce the new role of Manager Of Partnerships. We will be accepting applications for this role from today July 10th, until July 24th. 


The Manager of Partnerships will orchestrate the development and nurturing of strategic relationships between Lacrosse Canada (LC) and its external partners. This role involves identifying and finalizing sponsorships with potential partner organizations, negotiating agreements, and managing ongoing collaborations to enhance business growth and market reach. By aligning LC goals with the strengths and capabilities of its partners, the Manager of Partnerships ensures a mutually beneficial relationship that can lead to innovative solutions, expanded services, and access to new markets. Through effective LC long-term success by leveraging external expertise and resources.


Manager of Partnerships Duties

  • Develop and implement strategic partnership plans to expand LC’s reach and enhance its outreach
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partners based on alignment with LC goals, market potential, and strategic fit
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring terms meet organizational objectives and compliance standards
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations to ensure smooth collaboration and mutual benefit
  • Coordinate with internal member of National Teams, National Development programs, camps/clinics, Provincial member associations and the Executive Director to align partnership activities with overall business strategies
  • Monitor and analyze partnership performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize effectiveness and ROI
  • Organize and participate in events and conferences to represent LC, network with potential partners, and enhance brand visibility
  • Oversee the resolution of any issues or conflicts that arise within partnerships, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively to maintain strong, productive relationships

Manager of Partnerships Requirements

  • Education: The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with majors often in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Coursework in strategic management, partnership development, negotiation, and intercultural communication is highly beneficial. Advanced degrees may focus on strategic partnership, leadership, and advanced business strategies, providing a deeper understanding of global market dynamics and partnership cultivation. Continuous education in emerging market trends and partnership models is also advantageous for career progression.
  • Experience: Candidates typically possess experience building strategic partnerships and a proven ability to drive continuous improvements to achieve business goals. Ideal applicants have honed their skills through on-the-job training in relevant industries, showcasing a proven track record of successful partnership cultivation and management. Training programs focused on leadership, communication, and strategic planning are highly beneficial. Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and a deep understanding of market trends and business analytics further complement the profile of a successful candidate.
  • Certifications & Licenses: No specific certifications or licenses are typically required for the job of Manager of Partnerships.
