Lacrosse Canada launches fundraising campaign ahead of the Nissin Foods 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship

OSHAWA, ON — July 2, 2026 — Lacrosse Canada is proud to launch its fundraising campaign in support of Team Canada Women as they prepare to compete at the Nissin Foods 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship in Tokyo, Japan.

Set to take place from July 24 to August 2, 2026, the championship will bring together the world’s best women’s field lacrosse nations to compete for international supremacy. Ranked No. 2 in the world, Team Canada enters the tournament with its sights set on making history and capturing the program’s first-ever gold medal at a Women’s World Championship.

This campaign will help provide the resources necessary to ensure Team Canada is fully prepared to compete at the highest level on the world stage. Funds raised will directly support athlete and staff travel, performance services, equipment, and competition preparation.

Representing Canada at a world championship requires an extraordinary commitment from athletes, coaches, and support staff. Through this campaign, Lacrosse Canada is inviting the Canadian lacrosse community and supporters across the country to play a direct role in helping Team Canada pursue excellence in Tokyo.

Team Canada has long been a force in international women’s lacrosse and has consistently competed among the world’s elite. Tokyo 2026 represents another opportunity to showcase Canadian talent and the continued growth of women’s lacrosse in Canada and around the world.

Every contribution helps strengthen Team Canada’s journey.
