Canada Makes History, Captures Gold at U20 Men’s World Lacrosse Championship

JEJU, SOUTH KOREA – Team Canada has made history, winning the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship after defeating the United States 6–5 in a thrilling gold medal final.

In a game worthy of the sport’s greatest rivalry, Canada held firm in the final seconds as the Americans pressed for an equalizer. Thanks to clutch defensive play and outstanding goaltending, Canada secured its place atop the lacrosse world.

Grayson Manning was sensational in net, delivering a performance for the ages. Manning not only backstopped Canada to gold but was also named Tournament MVP and earned a spot on the All-World Team.

He was joined on the All-World roster by teammates Max Frattaroli, Jared Maznik, Parker Sorenson, Reece Dicicco, and Luke Robinson, underscoring Canada’s depth and dominance across the field.

This marks a historic achievement for Canadian lacrosse, as the next generation of stars showcased their skill, grit, and passion on the world stage.
