Call for Nominations for Lacrosse Canada Board of Directors

Oshawa, ON –Lacrosse Canada is issuing a call for nominations for upcoming Director-at-Large positions on its Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors is responsible for providing governance oversight, supporting the organization’s strategic direction, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of lacrosse in Canada.

Lacrosse Canada welcomes nominations of individuals with experience or interest in areas such as governance, finance, legal, sport administration, organizational leadership, or equity and inclusion. Prior board experience is considered an asset but is not required.

Interested individuals are encouraged to submit an application through the nomination process ahead of Lacrosse Canada’s Annual Meeting in September.

Lacrosse Canada is committed to building a Board that reflects diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences from across the Canadian lacrosse community.

The nomination period will remain open until July 10, 2026.

Nomination Process

Nominations may be submitted by individuals or by nominators on behalf of a candidate. Each nomination should include:

  • A brief statement of interest (one page or less)
  • A résumé
  • LinkedIn profile of the nominee
