Expression of Interest: 2026 National Development Team Program Coaching Staff
Lacrosse Canada is accepting Expressions of Interest for coaching and support staff positions within the 2026 National Development Team Program (NDTP). As we relaunch and rebuild the pathway, we are looking for committed leaders who believe in development, high-performance standards, and elevating Canada on the world stage. This is a unique opportunity to work within a nationally aligned, professionally structured environment and help shape the future of Canadian lacrosse.
Coaching Requirements
To ensure consistency, professionalism, and athlete safety:
All coaches must be Competition Introduction Certified in Field Lacrosse prior to the first Training Camp weekend.
Compensation & Support
Lacrosse Canada is committed to supporting its coaching staff with:
-Honorarium included
-Travel provided where necessary
-Accommodation provided where necessary
Support details vary by role, event, and assignment.

Coaching Roles @ U15/U17/U19 Men’s and Women’s
-Head Coach
-Assistant Coach
-Manager Trainer
Ideal candidates bring:
-Strong leadership and communication skills
-A development-first mindset
-Familiarity with LC/WL rules & standards
-Ability to collaborate within a national structure
-NCCP certification (Comp Intro is mandatory)
-Experience coaching at high-performance, provincial, rep, or club levels

September 27–29 @ USA Lacrosse Headquarters
5) Sixes Rivalry Challenge
October 9–11 @ Oshawa, ON
Additional virtual meetings, preparation sessions, and coordination calls will be required throughout the season.
