OTTAWA, ON—Lacrosse Canada is thrilled to announce that summer Marketing Assistant Taylor Retter will be joining the organization permanently as Communications and Marketing Coordinator.
In this position, she will continue to lead the development and implementation of LC’s communications and marketing strategies, working with our partners and MA’s to promote the sport of lacrosse at the local, national and international levels. You can find her responding to media enquiries, engaging with our audience on social media, updating the website, as well as assisting with promotional and sponsorship campaigns. She will continue work on previous initiatives to increase community engagement, while supporting the planning and execution of gender equity and safe sport initiatives.
Taylor is currently completing a Master’s degree in Journalism, and holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Law.
She has spent the last six years telling multimedia stories of athletes that go beyond box scores, with a particular interest in improving gender equity in sport. Her byline can be found in Maclean’s, the Ottawa Sportspage, and Capital Current, among others.
