Lacrosse Canada adds Summer Intern

Jun. 24, 2022

Ottawa, ON - Lacrosse Canada is pleased to announce the addition of Dyson Williams to the team as the National Championships and Communications Intern.

In this position, Dyson will assist our team with the continued development of Lacrosse Canada’s brand and communications as we approach the 2022 Canada Summer Games. At the Games, he will also represent Lacrosse Canada as the Sport Information Officer.

Dyson is heading into his senior year at Duke University, where he is a member of the Division 1 Men’s Lacrosse Team. He also currently plays box lacrosse for the Brooklin Lacrosse Club of Major Series Lacrosse, Ontario’s Senior A box lacrosse league. His experiences on the field will help him transition into this new behind-the-scenes role in lacrosse.

“Dyson brings an excellent skill set, to go along with a strong background in lacrosse. He will be a valuable member of Lacrosse Canada not just on the field but now also as a staff member. His strong leadership and dedication to lacrosse will translate easily from the field into the office,” said Terry Rayner, High Performance and National Championships Coordinator of Lacrosse Canada.
