Towson, MD—The Canadian Women’s Field Lacrosse Team will return to the international stage for their first game in five years, against Team USA.
In a historic agreement, World Lacrosse announced in late May that it had reached an agreement with ESPN, giving the network global media rights to World Lacrosse championships through 2023. In total, 246 games across three international events will be carried on ESPN’s linear networks or ESPN+ in the United States, TSN in Canada, and in 170+ territories via ESPN International.
The first time the World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship will have linear distribution, fans who can’t make it to Maryland will be able to watch from wherever they are.

Playoff games will also be available on ESPN. Semi-final games on July 7 will be available on ESPN2/TSN5. The Bronze Medal game on July 9 at 10 a.m. will be available on ESPNU. The Gold Medal game at 12 p.m. on July 9 will be available on ESPN2 and TSN5.
