Technical Coordinator
Lacrosse Canada (LC) is seeking a candidate to fill the full-time position (possibility of remote) of Technical Coordinator. The anticipated start date for the chosen candidate is Fall 2024. The Technical Coordinator will communicate and collaborate with LC partners to effectively administer and deliver ongoing and new programs, events and/or projects that will foster increased national development in the sport of lacrosse.
The Technical Coordinator reports to the Manager of High Performance and the Executive Director.

Technical Coordinator Job Application/Description
Governance/Finance Position
As Lacrosse Canada begins to transition its governance to comply with regulations to meet Sport Canada April 2025 there is a need for experience to ensure LC meets regulation. LC also is looking to transition from an operational board to a governance board. This administrative position will lead and support effective governance within the organization. Also, this role will require the employee to have a financial background to be able to ensure the organization is meeting the vision and core values of LC while monitoring risk management.
Summary of Duties
Advance Lacrosse Canada’s operational manual, risk management policy and structural governance/finances
Consult on opportunities and methods to develop and strengthen key processes
Facilitate transitioning from Operational Board to Governance/Advisory Board
Train colleagues and educate board members/member association’s on policy, operating guidelines, and key processes.
Research and prepare briefs on physical risk management governance, policy, and best practices
Oversee all financial operating process and analyze results and ensure compliance with Federal funding/grants
Oversee month-end closing of accounts, identify issues, compare with year-ago results and projections
