Canada Has Perfect Day 1 Of Super Sixes

Oshawa ON – Team Canada came out firing on opening day at the World Lacrosse Super Sixes – Canada, posting dominant results across both the men’s and women’s divisions in Oshawa, Ontario.

The Canadian Men’s National Team started their campaign with a pair of convincing wins, defeating Ireland 28–9 before closing the evening with a 20–10 victory over Great Britain. The squad showcased speed, precision, and depth throughout the day, setting a strong tone for the weekend ahead.

On the women’s side, both Canadian teams found success on home turf.

  • Canada Red earned two decisive victories, defeating Ireland 22–5 and Australia 16–6.
  • Canada White also went undefeated on the day, taking an 11–8 win over Haudenosaunee before powering past the Dominican Republic 30–6.

The performances from all three Canadian teams highlighted the depth of lacrosse talent across the country and the strength of Canada’s Sixes development system.
