Lacrosse Canada Accepting Applications for Men’s Field General Manager Position

Oshawa – ON, Lacrosse Canada is now accepting applications for the position of General Manager for the Canadian Men’s Field National Team, which will compete at the 2027 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in Japan.

The General Manager will play a key leadership role in overseeing team operations, including the selection of coaching and support staff, and assisting with player evaluations and selections. This is not a staff position, the successful candidate will receive an honorarium for their work.

Tournament Details

  • 2026 Qualifying Event: July 14–19, Jamaica
  • 2027 World Championships: Date TBD, Japan

Requirements (to be completed prior to the Qualifying Event or any training/selection camp)

  • Provide a criminal record check to Lacrosse Canada
  • Provide a photocopy of a valid passport to Lacrosse Canada
  • Provide a signed National Team Agreement and Code of Conduct

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

The General Manager will be responsible for managing budgets and logistics, coordinating with Lacrosse Canada staff, and representing the organization at international events.
