Lacrosse Canada is proud to announce UPS Canada as the Founding Partner of the organization’s Road to LA2028 fundraising campaign, a national initiative that will support Canada’s National Sixes Teams on their journey to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
As the campaign’s Founding Partner, UPS Canada is helping launch a multi-year fundraising initiative that gives Canadians the opportunity to directly support Canada’s National Sixes Teams as they prepare to compete on the world’s biggest sporting stage.
Funds raised through the Road to LA2028 campaign will directly support athlete preparation, national team training camps, international competition, sport science, performance services and other high-performance initiatives as Canada’s National Sixes Teams pursue a place on the Olympic podium.
The Road to LA2028 campaign will officially launch during the 2026 Pan-American Sixes Lacrosse Championships in Oshawa, Ontario. While the tournament marks the opening stage of the Olympic qualification pathway, it will also serve as the public launch of the campaign, inviting Canadians to play a meaningful role in supporting the future of Canada’s National Sixes program.
“Lacrosse Canada’s return to the Olympic Games represents a historic moment for our sport,” said Lori DeGraw, Chief Executive Officer of Lacrosse Canada. “We’re proud to welcome UPS Canada as the Founding Partner of the Road to LA2028 campaign. Their support will help create meaningful opportunities for Canadians to invest directly in our National Sixes Teams as we build toward Los Angeles.”
“We’re proud to partner with Lacrosse Canada as the Founding Partner of the Road to LA2028 campaign,” said Steve Vitale, UPS Canada. “This campaign gives Canadians an opportunity to play a meaningful role in supporting our National Sixes Teams as they pursue a place on the Olympic podium, and we’re excited to help launch that journey.”
Additional information about the Road to LA2028 campaign, including fundraising initiatives and ways Canadians can support Canada’s National Sixes Teams, will be announced in the coming weeks.
