Lacrosse Canada hires full time Communications and Marketing Coordinator

Lacrosse Canada is thrilled to announce that Kealan Pilon will be joining the organization permanently as Communications and Marketing Coordinator.

In this position, he will continue to develop LC’s communications and marketing strategies, working with our partners and MA’s to promote the sport of lacrosse at the local, national and international levels. You can find him responding to media enquiries, engaging with our audience on social media, updating the website, as well as assisting with promotional and sponsorship campaigns. He will continue work on previous initiatives to increase community engagement, while supporting the planning and execution of gender equity and safe sport initiatives.

Kealan recently finished his masters in communications at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina. Before completing his masters he earned an undergraduate degree in communications as well. While attending school he was also a student athlete playing lacrosse for 5 of those years.

Kealan has attended many of the Lacrosse Canada events this past summer and has kept the Lacrosse Canada socials up to date on everything going on with lacrosse around the nation.

“We are so excited for Kealan to continue his work with Lacrosse Canada,” said Jane Clapham, LC Executive Director. “His work thus far has demonstrated that he is a great fit for this position, and we are certain he’ll help us to achieve our organizational goals in the future.”
