Oshawa, ON – Lacrosse Canada is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its national office team. Dyson Williams has been appointed as the new Community Events Coordinator, while Jennifer Johnson joins the organization as Administrative Coordinator.

Williams, a graduate of Duke University and current member of the Albany Firewolves and Utah Archers, brings a wealth of experience both on and off the field. As a high-level player and dedicated advocate for the sport, he will be responsible for planning and executing national camps, clinics, and other high-performance initiatives. His leadership, organizational skills, and deep understanding of the game are expected to make an immediate impact.

“I’m incredibly excited to take on this new role with Lacrosse Canada,” said Williams. “I’ve always been passionate about growing the game. I look forward to delivering events across the country that bring together the lacrosse community.”

Jennifer Johnson brings over a decade of experience in the sport and nonprofit sectors, making her a valuable addition to Lacrosse Canada as Administrative Coordinator. A Penn State alumni with a masters degree in sport management from the University of Connecticut, Jennifer brings a strong academic and athletic background to the role. She spent 16 years coaching at the collegiate level with programs including Cornell, UConn, and the University of Vermont, and also served as Program Coordinator at The Barn elite performance center. A three-time Team Canada athlete at the World Cup, she has continued to contribute to the sport as head coach of the U19 Team Canada in 2019 and currently leads the NDTP U17 East Girls team. In her new position, Jennifer will support all departments to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of Lacrosse Canada’s programs and services.

“I’m thrilled to be joining such a dedicated team,” said Johnson. “I look forward to contributing to the continued success of lacrosse in Canada and supporting the organization’s important work at every level.”

Executive Director Terry Rayner welcomed both hires with enthusiasm: “We’re excited to have Dyson and Jennifer join Lacrosse Canada. Their unique skills and experiences will strengthen our organization and help us continue to grow the sport from coast to coast.”

With these new appointments, Lacrosse Canada continues its commitment to building a strong, experienced team to support the development and promotion of lacrosse at all levels across the country.
