OSHAWA, Ont. – Lacrosse Canada has announced the athletes selected to participate in the Men’s Sixes National Team Training Camp as preparations begin for the 2026 Pan-American Sixes Lacrosse Championship (PALA Sixes), taking place in Oshawa from September 29 to October 4.
The training camp will bring Canada’s top players together for two days of on-field sessions and exhibition games. The roster features established stars such as Dhane Smith, Josh Byrne, Challen Rogers and Brett Dobson, alongside emerging talent including Liam Matthews, Ty Banks, Finn Thomson and reigning NLL Finals MVP Sam English. The blend of proven veterans and rising stars makes this one of the deepest and most talented training camp rosters assembled in recent Canadian history.

As part of training camp, Team Canada will take on Armenia in a pair of exhibition games on Wednesday, July 22. The games will provide an opportunity for the coaching staff to see the athletes compete in an international game as they continue the selection process for the final roster.

The 2026 Pan-American Sixes Lacrosse Championship will bring together the top men’s and women’s national teams from across the Americas in Oshawa this fall. As the host nation, Canada will look to secure its place at the 2027 World Sixes Championship while defending its No. 1 world ranking.
