Oshawa, ON – Lacrosse Canada is proud to announce the 40 athletes who have been invited to attend the final selection camp for the Women’s Sixes National Team that will represent Canada at The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China.

The final selection camp will take place from June 6–8 in St. Catharines, ON, where athletes will compete for a spot on the final roster. The selected team will go on to represent Canada at The World Games, taking place August 7–11, 2025, at the Chengdu No. 7 High School Eastern Campus Athletics Field.

Canada has been placed in Pool A, alongside China, Great Britain, and Japan. Pool play will run from August 7–9, with semifinals and placement games on August 10, and medal games on August 11.

This marks the second appearance of Sixes lacrosse at The World Games, following its successful debut in 2022. Canada enters the event as the reigning gold medalists and will look to defend its title against an increasingly competitive international field.
