Chengdu, China — Team Canada’s Women’s Sixes team will return home with silver medals after falling 16–8 to the USA in the gold medal game at The World Games.
Canada battled throughout the final, showing determination and composure against a strong American side. The result caps an impressive tournament that saw Canada go undefeated in group play, post a dominant semifinal win over Australia, and represent the country with skill, sportsmanship, and unity.
This Canadian roster was more than just a collection of elite athletes — it was a team of great people who embraced the challenge, supported one another, and proudly wore the maple leaf.
Canada was also recognized in the tournament’s All-World Team selections, with Brooklyn Walker-Welch and Erica Evans earning the honour for their standout performances.
