Lacrosse Canada Partners with Volt Athletics to Elevate Training for Women’s Sixes National Team

Toronto, ON – June 2025 – Lacrosse Canada is proud to announce a new partnership with Volt Athletics, naming Volt the official strength and conditioning platform of the Women’s Sixes National Team program.

With lacrosse officially included in the LA28 Olympic Games, Canada’s high-performance programming is entering a critical phase of preparation. Lacrosse Canada has identified a key gap in the current system: many women’s teams do not have the same consistent access to off-season training tools and support as their male counterparts.

“We felt it was really important to find a training tool that could help fill those gaps—and Volt was the perfect fit,” said Sam McKenzie, Manager of Partnerships at Lacrosse Canada. “We’re thrilled to bring Volt into our Women’s Sixes program as our official strength and conditioning platform. As we look ahead to LA28, integrating trusted, high-performance technology is a key priority in how we prepare and support our athletes. Volt came highly recommended by our strength and conditioning coach, and we’re excited about how this platform will elevate our approach to training and athlete health. We see this as an important step in our long-term development strategy, and we hope to expand Volt across all of our programming in the future.”

Volt’s AI-powered platform will provide personalized, sport-specific training to help Team Canada athletes train more effectively year-round—regardless of where they live or what resources they have access to.

“We’re proud to partner with Lacrosse Canada and support their commitment to long-term athlete development,” said Jessica LaChance, Marketing Manager at Volt Athletics. “At Volt, our mission is to make world-class training accessible and effective for every athlete—whether they’re on the path to the Olympics or just starting their journey. We’re excited to be the strength and conditioning software behind the Women’s Sixes program and look forward to fueling their performance every step of the way.”

Volt’s integration into the Women’s Sixes program will begin immediately, with future expansion planned for other disciplines and development levels within Lacrosse Canada’s high-performance pathway.
